Ernie’s impact extended far beyond his immediate family, as he served as an exemplary coach for over 25 years (coaching all his children and many of his grandchildren along the way). Coaching wasn’t just a job to him but a calling and something he loved doing; as he wanted to share his passion, give back and help positively shape as many children as he could. He motivated and challenged his players to never settle and to reach for their full potential, both on and off the field. He loved every child he ever coached, and they will always be Coach Ernie’s kids.
