I don't know that I ever met Evelyn, but I remember Wilma and Laurene very well. They used to come to Dante to visit my grandparents, Claude and Cynthia Sproles. My mother, Edith Sproles Reedy, had saved the 1946 newspaper clipping of Evelyn and Marvin's marriage in her scrapbook. My love and sympathy to all the distant family members I have never had the priviledge of meeting. Sincerely, Dennis Reedy, Haysi, VA

To my Aunt Evelyn
I will miss you very much. There was not a time when we would stop by and visit that we were made welcome. Evelyn and Marvin were always very good to our children and spoiled them to the max. I will always cherish the memories when our family went over for a visit when mother was getting her hair done in the salon. Precious memories indeed.
To all the family our thoughts and prayers are with you.....
