Evelyn K. Light

June 20, 1927January 14, 2014

Evelyn Light, age 86, of Kingsport, entered into rest January 14, 2014 at Indian Path Medical Center. Born in Cleveland, VA, a daughter to the late Arthur Anthony Kiser and Ellen Artrip Kiser, she had resided in Kingsport most of her life. Evelyn was a retired hairdresser and formerly employed with the Kingsport Press. She was a member of Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, J.O. Light. Survivors include one son, Andy Light and his wife Donna of Gray; one grandson, Kris Wilson and wife Holly of Columbia, Missouri; three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 17th from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00p.m. with funeral services to follow in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church, 213 Colonial Heights Rd. Kingsport, TN 37663.
