

On Friday, August 14, 2015, Evelyn Jane Myers, 80, her saved soul transcended to the Spirit into the sky joining her true love and husband of 50 years, Charlie Ray Myers. Throughout her journey she dedicated her life to her family and her church. She touched many lives with her kind sacrifices. She was born on April 30, 1935 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia but resided most of her life in Kingsport, Tennessee.
She was the daughter of the late Samuel Wilson Moore and Edith Belle Osborne Moore. In addition to her parents, Ms. Myers was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Ray Myers; brothers, Frank Moore and Sammy Moore; and grandson, David Wayne. As her works here are done, she lives on through the lives of her beloved children; Anita R. Bradshaw and husband David, Roger C. Myers and wife Tammie, Janet L. Ross and husband Greg; grandchildren, Amy Ross, Jeremiah Ross and wife Jennifer, Heather Castle and husband Michael, Elizabeth Ross, Dave Bradshaw Jr. and wife Athena, Jamie Ward and husband Lynn; nine great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 5:30pm until 7:30pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Ms. Evelyn Jane Myers will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 7:30 pm in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Gentry and Pastor Gary Rowlette officiating. Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Faith. Those wishing to attend the graveside service we ask that you meet at the funeral home by 10:30 am. Pallbearers will be Amy Ross, Jeremiah Ross, Allen Anderson, Mike Campbell, Ralph Huffman, Michael Castle, Tim Oaks, and Peyton Oaks. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jeremy Minor.
