Evelyn Holland Neu

Evelyn Holland Neu, 94, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Neu was born on August 27, 1919 in Rochester, New York the daughter of the late Francis Everette Holland and Florence Knight Holland. She was a homemaker and a forty-five year member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. Mrs. Neu was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Gerald Neu; and one infant son, Freddy Neu.

Survivors include three sons, Gerald D. Neu, Jr. and wife Kathleen, Frederick Neu and wife Jane and Stephen E. Neu; one daughter, Sheila Frame and husband David; four grandchildren, Robert Neu, Lawrence Neu, Stephen H. Neu and wife Angela and Daniel Neu; and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 11:00am until 11:30am at the St. Dominic’s Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Evelyn Holland Neu will be held following visitation at the St. Dominic’s Catholic Church with Rev. William Oruko officiating. The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff of the Smokey Mountain Hospice for all their wonderful compassion and care.
