Frances Luree Nash

Frances Luree Nash, 87, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at NHC Health Care of Johnson City. Mrs. Nash was born on April 6, 1927 in Lexington, Mississippi the daughter of the late George Phillip Taylor and Essie Mae Tate Taylor. Mrs. Nash was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blountville and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Bartlette Nash; one brother, Hugh Taylor; and one sister, Martha Reeves. Mrs. Nash is survived by one son, James William Bartlette Nash, Jr.; one daughter, Linda Legg and husband John; five grandchildren, Karen Guy, Stephen Legg, John Michael Legg, Gregory Nash and Jennifer Nash; five great grandchildren, Landon Legg, Peyton Legg, Kaitlyn Franklin, Ashley Morenings and Brandon Guy; three sisters, Kay Chalfant and husband Griff, Shirley Davidson and Pat Hogge; and nieces and nephews, Ricky Davidson, JoAnn Taylor, Lisa White, Paula Williams, Jana Burnett, David Taylor, Griff Chalfant, Steven Chalfant and Flip Chalfant. Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Luree Nash will be held Friday, April 18, 2014 at 7:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Clay Austin officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, April 18, 2014 in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 10:00am in the Christus Garden of East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Guy, Stephen Legg, John Michael Legg, Gregory Nash, Ricky Davidson and Landon Legg.
