

Freddie Glenn Huff, loving husband, father, Pappy and friend entered into the promise of eternal life through Jesus on Sunday, April 26, 2026. He showed love in all he did and to everyone he met. He found joy, peace and strength in prayer, and was often asked to pray for others. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire.
Freddie was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, on Saturday, September 11, 1948, to Glen Harold Huff and Dorothy Ellen Herron Huff, who have since passed away. Freddie dedicated 42 years of his career as a service technician for American Electric Power Company.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings Robert Lynn Huff, Larry Wayne Huff, Dorothy Ann Huff, and Patricia Fay Huff; and his great-granddaughter Jordyn Michaela Johnson.
Freddie is survived by his wife of 60 years Jeanette Mary Sluss Huff, two daughters: Karen Boehm and Susan White & husband Grady; son: Holden Huff; brother Danny Huff & wife Sharron; sister Debbie Burnette & husband Micheal; grandchildren Christopher & fiancee Kylie Otto, Siegfried, Elizabeth & husband Cody, and Jonah & wife Kali; great-grandchildren Dawson, Bailey, Ryan, Blake, and Kaisley; best-friend Grant Eledge; special friend Glenn Land; survived by several nieces and nephews; along with many other friends and family that loved him dearly.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 2:00 pm – 2:45 pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in the cemetery at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
