

Mrs. Gayther “Gay” Evelyn Reagan Horne, age 87, of Kingsport went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 31, 2012 at her residence following a brief illness, she was surrounded by loving family and friends.
Mrs. Horne was born on February 18, 1925, in Lee County, VA, the daughter of the late James and Nannie Childers Reagan. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was formerly employed with Tennessee Eastman Company. She was a life time member of Power Point Ministries of Kingsport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Haynes Horne; by six brothers; Estil, Thurman, Fred, Martin, Homer Reagan and Ed Gregory, also preceding her in death are four sisters; Julia Reagan Bell, Flora Reagan Sipple, Ida Philpot, and Beulah Philpot.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-laws; Don (Regina) Horne of Kingsport. Gary (Kathi) Horne, Sr. of Johnson City. Daughter, Karen Horne of Kingsport. Granddaughter; Traci (Michael) Camper. Grandson, Gary (Jessica)Horne, Jr. Great-grandchildren; Mya Camper, Christopher Camper, Jacob Smith and Parker Horne. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Horne will be conducted on Friday January 4, 2013 at 7 p.m. from the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Bishop Jack Forbes officiating. Burial will be held on Saturday January 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home.
