George W Tomlinson

George Walter Tomlinson was born on June 8, 1943, to John and MIttie Tomlinson and went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2025, at the age of 82 years old. George, or "Bud," had a 30 year career at Eastman. He loved his family greatly and was beloved by them. He was known for his love of laughter and pranks with his family. He was preceded in death by his first wife Christine Tomlinson and his parents, John and Mittie. He is survived by his second wife Carolyn Tomlinson, daughters, Teresa Cross and Sandra Thacker and son-in--law Wayne Thacker; grandchildren, Chelsea Begley, Ashley Fields, and Justin Cross; great-grandchildren, Emmitt Fields, Laurel Fields, and Neyland Cross.

A visitation for George "Bud" will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664. A Graveside service will be Friday, October 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park's Garden of Love with Pastor Andy Wood officiating.
