Hello! I am sending this on behalf of my mom, Pauline Blizzard Sizemore, who is one of Gerald's first cousins (on her mother's side). She remembers many happy times visiting with the Flanagans and she and another cousin, Phyllis Flanagan Elenich, kept in contact with Gerald over the years. We all pray that you and your family will find comfort through the many memories you have with family and friends.
May God bless you all.

Judy, I just wanted you to know how much Gerald meant to me as his cousin. We had many good memories when we were kids. Gerald was smart, full of energy and curiosity and, he was always a good person. June, his mother, always made me feel at home when I stayed overnight. Gerald grew up and did many things in his life that reflected his values, kindness, and bravery. He was a real Man. I am so proud of my cousin. Since we both believe in Jesus and God, I know Gerald is in a good place. Please accept my condolences for your loss. I regret not being able to travel to Tennessee to talk to you in person. Love and God's Blessing, Hughie.

I came up through years of service with Gerald. Always found Gerald to be a good officer and a good friend. Though we were in different departments that didn’t matter. Praying for Gerald’s family during this time of grieving and sorrow.
