Giuseppe Misciagna

Giuseppe Misciagna, 82, passed away during the early morning hours of Monday (December 12, 2016) after an extended illness. Giuseppe was born on April 19, 1934 to the late Michele & Maria Concetta (Poveromo) Misciagna in Italy.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Dora (Marinelli) Misciagna; four sons, Mike & wife Enza, Raffaele & wife Fausta, Mario & fiancé Shelley Zinzer, and Riccardo & wife Mary; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday (December 18, 2016) from 2-3:30 p.m. at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church (2517 N John B Dennis Hwy, Kingsport, TN 37660). The funeral mass will follow with Father Michael officiating.

Entombment will be held Monday (December 19, 2016) at 9:00 am in Mausoleum III at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family requests, that in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, located at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, (866) 278-5833, and/or St. Dominic’s Catholic Church.

The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to the staff of Asbury Place, and to all the nurses and doctors at Holston Valley Medical Center.
