Glenda Jones Baines

Glenda was born January 28, 1947, to the late Lester and Lois Turner Jones. Glenda adored her family and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Jones and wife Beulah “Boobie”; mother Lois Turner; two sons, Maurice Williams II and Mark Williams; husband Billy Jack Baines, gift granddaughters, Heather Smith and Abby Pearson.

She is survived by her Daughter Beth Lane and husband Freddie; grandchildren, Kayla Weatherly, Amber Phillips and wife Katlin Phillips, Allison Key and husband Andy, Alyssa Lane and husband Luke, and Hunter Lawson; great - grandchildren, Addison Weatherly, Kayden Lawson, Levi Weatherly; brother, David Jones and wife Deborah; gift children, Carolyn Pearson, Sharon Williams, and Jackie Baines; gift great granddaughter Raelynn Stiltner; father of her children, Wayne “Whistle” Williams. Glenda also leaves behind her sister-in-law and best friend, Betty Jo Melear.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. in East Lawn Memorial Park’s Garden of Memories. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:50 P.M.
