

Glenn was born August 16, 1951, at Fort Shelby Hospital in Bristol, Virginia to the late Willie Lon and Vivian Estellene Musser Jackson. He was a graduate of John S. Battle High School and attended Virginia Highlands Community College. Glenn spent the next 25 years as delivery driver for United Parcel Service from which he retired in 1998. Afterward, he worked as a courier for Courtesy Chevrolet and currently Wallace Ford. Glenn was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and treasurer for Woodmen Life Chapter 1150 for over 44 years.
Glenn lived a life devoted to Christ, and he and Donna attended Sunnyside Baptist Church where they were members.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Donna Jackson; sisters-in-law, JoAnn (David) Gray and Carmen (Dan) Payne; brother-in-law, Harold (Jenny) Stanton; several cousins, special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends to include his church family at Sunnyside.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 6, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 6:45 P.M. at Sunnyside Baptist Church in Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 P.M. with the Reverend Dr. Bill Sims officiating. Committal services will be Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 11:00 A.M at East Lawn Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend the committal are asked to arrive at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M.
Chris Gray, Jamie Stanton, Greg Stanton, Jacob Greer, Jerry Feathers, and Tim Smith will serve as pallbearers.
