It is such a beautiful tribute to Mr. Herbert Lewis and the love he had for his children when you are blessed to know any member of his family. His children, their spouses, his grandchildren are such giving, loving, Christian people.

I live very close to the old home place of Herbert's. His sister Gladys Hockett was my neighbor just across the hill, in fact our farm joined hers. My husband and I met Herbert at Gladys Hockett's funeral. He was a wonderful Christian man and we considered it an honor to have met him.

I (Carol) came to a birthday party held at the church for his wife with Carol Burke who was Gladys Hockett's daughter. It was a wonderful birthday party and I also got to meet some of his children and grandchildren. We are so sorry to hear of his passing but we know that he is up in heaven talking with all his relatives and friends who have gone one before him. We will keep you all in our prayers through the loss of your family member.
