Ida Cornelia Patton, age 64, of Church Hill, TN, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born on August 31, 1961, the daughter of the late Georgia M. Patton Wright. Ida was a passionate advocate for her beliefs. She was an active and devoted member of the Hawkins County Democrat Party and was involved with the USW Women of Steel and the SOAR Retirees Organization, where she worked to ensure that voices were heard and needs were addressed. Ida also held the esteemed position of past Vice President of the USW Local 456. Service and dedication to her community inspired her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her family and close friends: Cathy Nance, Anna Lee, and Debbie & Mike Barrett.
There are no formal funeral arrangements planned at this time.
