

Ina G. Olinger, of Kingsport, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in East Stone Gap, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ewing Harrell and Polly Alice Dickerson Harrell. Mrs. Olinger was of Baptist faith and worked in several businesses within the Kingsport area. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed floral gardening.
In addition to her parents, Ewing Harrell and Polly Alice Dickerson Harrell she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Filyaw.
She is survived by her husband of over 64 years, William Olinger; her loving sons, Jeff Olinger, Jerry Olinger and Harold Olinger; her loving daughter and caregiver, Kay Robinson and husband, Ronnie who was her dear son-in-law; daughters, Barbara Nelms and husband, Ralph and Teresa Clark and husband, Johnny; grandchildren, Corey Nelms and Dylan Nelms; several nieces and nephews; her very special caregiver and dear friend, Jan Gaither; and special friend, Kenneth Cassell.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, January 30, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with the Reverend James Hagy officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 in the Garden of Everlasting Life I of East Lawn Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are her loving sons and friends.
