

Inus Jeanette (Moore) Goins, 89, passed away during the early morning hours of Tuesday (January 23, 2018) at Holston Valley Medical Center. Inus was born on September 14, 1928 in Stickleyville, VA to the late Clint & Addie Elizabeth (Fannon) Moore.
Inus retired from United Inter-Mountain Telephone Company in 1984 after many years of dedicated service. Inus was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed camping, traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. Inus was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Inus was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, George K. Goins; Inus was the last of her 11 siblings: Frank Moore, Bell Moore, Mary McCrackin, Jack Moore, Pearl Moore, Peggy Horton, Dora Tunnell, Denver Moore, and infant sister.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Jeff Goins & wife Kelly; daughter, Cathy Greene & Todd; granddaughter, Shelby Greene; grandson, Zach Greene; three grandpuppies, Zoie, Dolly, and Bella; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family will greet guests and share memories on Friday (January 26, 2018) from 5 to 7 p.m. in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Chris Alford officiating.
Inus will be laid to rest beside of her beloved husband, George, on Saturday (January 27, 2018) at 1 p.m. in the Garden of the Good Shepherd of East Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
