Jerry was of the Christian faith and attended Blountville Christian Church, he thought of them as a second family.
He enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with his family. He had a lifelong passion for automobiles. He loved NASCAR racing and was employed with Morgan/McClure racing for 21 years as their Gear Man. He loved restoring cars and restored several models. He loved deep sea fishing, enjoyed family trips to the ocean, gardening, playing his guitar, and working with his strawberry plants and peach trees. He loved the outdoors and was an avid birdwatcher and feeder. He was everyone’s go to person for advice on just about anything. He will sadly be missed by all, but we shall be comforted by his faith in Christ our Lord.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during his courageous battle against cancer. Special thanks to friend and Hot Rod Buddy Ralph Ceraso and to the hospice staff for all they’ve done for him and the family.
