Jerry Ray Reed

Born on May 13, 1955, Jerry lived a life grounded in faith and family. He shared 49 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Gail. Together they raised two daughters, Joi and Erin, and welcomed two sons-in-law, Patrick and Clark. He found great joy in his role as a proud grandparent to Reed, Jordin and Carson. He is also remembered by his brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Marion Reed, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A man of unwavering devotion to his faith, Jerry was an active member of Sullivan Baptist Church. His participation in the church choir reflected both his love for worship and his commitment to fellowship within his spiritual community. His walk with Christ was central to his life and served as a guiding light through every season.

Following a long career marked by dedication and hard work, Jerry embraced retirement with enthusiasm. He found peace and pleasure on the golf course, where the rhythm of the game offered him both recreation and quiet reflection.

Jerry’s presence will be deeply missed by those who knew him. His legacy of faith, love for family, and joyful spirit will continue to inspire all whose lives he touched.

A visitation for Jerry will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Sullivan Baptist Church, 4152 Maplewood St, Kingsport, TN. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 4:00 PM.
