Always enjoyed the friendship I had and time I spent at the shop over.the years with Jim and  Mike. . Never a dull moment . Jim was a great man and a great friend as well . I grew up around them my whole life and all of them are like family!  Forever in my prayers and memories. !

My Dad was the best father I could ask for. He's taught me everything I know in the shop. From the moment he put a paint gun in my hand at 11 years old he's taught me what he could and I worked very hard. He's taught me work effort because he believes his kids and grandkids should work hard in life and be able to care for their self and be able to provide.  My mom was a hard worker too and times I was sick and had surgery or was ill and needed help he did whatever he could to help me like when I had a Stent placed and was going through other health issues or needed to use his car and he let me use or money he helped me. Brandy and Dad was such a big support to me during my health crisis.   My son reminds him a lot of himself because he's always wanting to work and help out and likes to learn with his curious mind, he's so smart and says he was exactly like Michael when he was his age. Michael knew how to operate a jack when he was yay high and was always wanting to follow his papaw everywhere. He could quickly put a smile on Dad's face.  He has a grand daughter Makayla,  who he loves and she spent a lot of time with her papaw and mamaw growing up. She loves her papaw so much  too  and he has great grandkids too and they have special memories also.  He loves his family and has special memories with everyone who loved him. It takes me longer to focus and  learn some things but Dad has  always been the one to teach me, he would always be the one who was able to find ways to help me learn because I was left handed and it's harder to teach someone left handed to use a paint gun but he found a way to teach me at 11 years old and I quickly learned and was always in the shop helping him. He was shocked how quickly I caught on and learned.  I'd spend all my free time helping work on cars with Dad. I purchased a simple graveside memorial upon Dad's wishes. Sadly a lot of his friends have passed on but he's loved by all who knew him and is greatly missed

Jim was an amazing Father, Grandfather, Son and friend. He was such a HARD worker. He was still working and keeping busy up until his passing. He would do anything for his family who he loved dearly and most importantly he knew and loved the Lord with all of his heart. I had the honor of spending the final moments of life beside him where he passed away peacefully at 2:55 AM as I had woken from sleep a moment prior to him going to his heavenly home. We shared conversations he never shared with anyone and I'm honored to be trusted with his care during his final week(s). He was incredibly close to my son (his Grandson) "Papaw" was the first word my son spoke. He taught my son to garden, grow tomatoes which were one of my son's favorite vegetables and  helped my son learn about  the shop and he learned a lot from his Papaw. He built things for my son like a skateboard for starters. He put a light and a license plate on the back of his dune buggy so it would be more realistic   and he's helped wire my lamps that were broken. My son enjoys the memories of helping him sand cars and my son using their jack to lift his dune and toy vehicles up for pretend play. He would tickle Michael and he spoiled him rotten with snacks just like Grandparents are suppose to do.  He even made this one snack drawer at his home for him to come and pick out his favorites. As a matter of fact his papaw introduced him to many of his favorite snacks. They shared a special bond. This last Christmas he made a special box with several pieces of cardboard to make it hard to open with duck tape with Michael's gift which was a bean bag chair. It must have taken him hours to wrap this gift and it took my son over an hour to unwrap and open it. I laughed and laughed and I have this video too because it was so special.    These are  just a few memories that I'll forever cherish. I'm so honored to know such a precious soul and we will never forget you. Until we meet again. ♥️

I want to send our prayers to each of family members and to Mike and Little Michael.I will always be here if you need to talk and always keep  pushing forward be strong and keep reminding yourself that Mr.jim would want you to keep doing things good and right now Mr&Mrs Catron are together now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
