Jimmy Dillow passed away peacefully at his home on October 22, 2019 in the place he was born 81 years ago. He had been an auto mechanic all his life. He could fix anything. He loved to fish, chew his tobacco and sit on the porch in the swing.
He was preceded in death by his mama and daddy, Carl and Hazel Dillow; brother, Tommy Dillow and wife Pauline; sister, Kathleen Freeman; and son-in-law, Joel Nelms.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janice; daughter, Robin Nelms; son, Shannon Dillow (Donna Harrison); granddaughters, Madison Dillow, Hunter Kenney (Justin), and Hayley Nelms (Derek); grandson, Kevin Nelms (Marrissa); great-granddaughters, Emma, Ellis, Chloe, and Aubrey; great-grandsons, Mason and Barrett; nieces, Cynthia Smith (Earl) and Kenitha Baird (David); nephews, Danny Dillow (Patsy), Ronnie, Mike, Steve, and Roger Freeman; and best friends, A.D. Jones and Wayne Davis.

Graveside service will be held October 25, 2019 at 1:00pm at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of David with Rev. Russell Payne Jr. and Danny Dillow officiating.
