She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She had the kindest soul of any one you would ever meet. Her family was her world.
Preceding her in death are her parents: Robert and Opal Myers; several brothers and sisters; her husbands: Charles Keith Goad and Timothy Rich and a son-in-law: Jimmy Ray Guss, Sr.
Joanna leaves behind to cherish her memory are her children: Abby Guss, Charles Keith Goad, Jr, "Chuck" (Gina), and Gayla Goad. Grandchildren: Abilene Guss, Jennifer Guss, Anna, Guss, Joseph Guss, Nicholas Goad, Nikiea Goad and Amber Dean. 6 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 16, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM with burial to immediately follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
