Born on June 21, 1930, John was a self-made man who began working at the age of 15. He enlisted in the Army early in life and served his country proudly as a paratrooper. John was also a talented musician, playing both the guitar and harmonica. He understood the challenges of starting with very little and made it his mission to share his knowledge and skills with others, helping them to succeed alongside him.
John's career was marked by his service as a veteran of the United States Army. He was a highly intelligent man who transitioned into the computer industry as an electronic technician, working for Univac for many years.
In his personal life, John loved his wife deeply and was proud of his family. He enjoyed spending time with them and was known to engage in random acts of charity towards complete strangers. His family was often witness to his generous spirit.
John had a passion for fishing, hunting, and creating with his hands. He dedicated time to transporting patients to the Shriners Hospital for treatment. He attended Bethelview Baptist Church.
John's legacy is defined by his desire to see everyone succeed. He loved with his whole heart, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew him.
