Mrs Joyce will forever be part of what made the street we reside on so special. My kids and I love her dearly.

I loved cousin, Joyce. She was so sweet, beautiful, and interesting. When I was a little girl, she and Jimmy hosted my family when my infant brother, Donny, was in intensive care in Kingsport. I remember playing with Jeff, eating Quisp cereal, watching cartoons, and feeling right at home as my parents dealt with a critically ill child. Joyce’s kindness during that difficult time is a wonderful memory, and it meant so much to my parents, Thomas and Jean. Jeff,  we’re so sorry. Your mom has been my neighbor my whole life and I thought the world of her.  Whenever we would catch up she loved to talk about her family.  Thinking of you all in the days ahead.

She was a sweet lady, and put me to shame when it comes to keeping house.
I visited her the last time I was up there with Melody, and had a nice visit.

Jeff,
I am so sorry to hear that you lost your Momma.  She is one of the hardest working women I have known.  I will never forget watching her mop the back steps, wipe down the clothes line before she hung her laundry and seeing her sheets blowing in the wind.    Remember how she would give us Mountain Dew and cream twirl money for us to spend at Brickey's  if we would dig the dandelion's out of the yard?    Good memories of Joyce and Jim Rowe will always be in my heart.  You and your family are in my prayers.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Joyce.  Over the years she's been thru a lot.  But she was always in high spirits.  She was definitely a "Fireball".  She will truly be missed by all who knew her.  Your family will be in our thoughts & prayers.  My mom & Joyce loved talking on the phone at least twice a month. 😉
