She was born January 5, 1954, in Bristol, Tennessee to the late Lloyd and Evelyn Ketron Crawford. Juanita enjoyed bingo and crocheting and had quite the collection of Cabbage Patch dolls. She was a loving mother whose greatest joy came from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Above all, Juanita was steadfast in her Christian faith and the relationship she shared with Jesus Christ.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jackie Harold McClellan and her stepson, Harold Vernon Sutherland.
Survivors include her sons, Johnny (Estelleta) McClellan and Lloyd William “Bud” (Jerrie) McClellan; daughter, Tammy (Mark) Simpson; siblings, Judy Cunningham, Danny (Debbie) Crawford, Mike (Tammy) Crawford, and Noah Crawford; grandchildren, Danielle Hale, Nicolas “Nickie” Alexander - Cash Calhoun, Brandi Blackard, Cynthia Ann Christian, Harley Rowland, Shayanna Smith, Aaron Long, Devin Rose, Addison Routt, and Braydon Parsons; special friends, Peggy Cox and Jean Calton. Juanita is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 20, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at East Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 P.M. in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jacob Crawford and Pastor Israel Crawford officiating. The committal service will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at East Lawn Memorial Park’s Christus Garden where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to arrive at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M.
Following the committal service, family and friends are invited to a reception at the Bloomingdale Ruritan, 3232 Van Horn Street, Kingsport, Tennessee, 37660.
