Judy Anne Blevins

She was born September 25, 1946, in Rogersville, Tennessee to the late Virgil Hix and Nancy Heck Tunnell. Judy’s devotion to her family was constant and unyielding. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on October 16, 2024, by her husband of 45 years, R.L. Blevins and daughter, Beverly Dawn Grills.

Survivors include her son, Rick Hurd and wife Joyce; sister, Margaret Larkin and husband Ben; special aunt, Nancy Heck. Judy is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 17, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at East Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Skelton officiating. Interment will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Judy’s memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
