

Kermit Roosevelt Crane, 87, died on October 14, 2014, in Kingsport. His wife, Ina Mae Fleenor Crane, predeceased him in 2007. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Stewart (Barbara) of Loudon, Tennessee, Stephen (Joy), of Blountville, and Carolyn Adell Hackworth (James), of Kingsport. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Julie Crane Limbaugh (Michael), Kelly E. Rogers (Matthew), Abigail Crane, Zachary Crane (Shannon), Kaely and Malina Hackworth, Nicole Foster (Kevin), and great- grandchildren, Drake and Deegan Limbaugh, Amelie and Grace Rogers, and Ty and Riley Foster. He is also survived by his sister, Deszmer Pollock, brother Ralph (Ruth), sister Jo Ann Underwood (Woody), cousin Dorothy Bishop, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Lula P. Crane, father Ralph, and siblings Vernon, Edward, Irene, and Yvonne Crane George. Kermit was a native of Kingsport, a WWII veteran (US Army), a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University, and a Tennessee Eastman Company retiree. He and Ina were members of Reedy Creek Presbyterian Church for their married life. Their family thanks the members of Reedy Creek for their many years of fellowship and support of our parents. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:30 pm on Sunday October 19th at Reedy Creek Presbyterian Church, and the memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm.
