Linda spent most of her life in Kingsport, being a homemaker, taking care of her family. Later, she worked several years as the biscuit maker at the Greenwood Market, afterwards, she and her husband opened B & L Restaurant in Blountville. She enjoyed collecting dolls, playing with her cats, and had a great love for all animals. Linda raised many baby lambs and calves. She loved working in the garden, collecting flowers and watching her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Earl (Bud) David Waterman, Jr.; sisters, Edith J Perry and Louis Bunn; and brothers, Bascom Cox and Allen Cox.
Leaving to grieve her loving family, son, Scott Waterman; daughters, Nora Kincer, husband Jack and Velvet Tipton; granddaughters, Becky Tipton, Hannah Waterman, Morgan Trent, husband Levi; grandson, Johnathan Waterman; and special kitty, Skittles.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. A celebration of Linda’s life will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel officiated by Pastor Rodney Cobble.
Linda will be laid to rest beside her husband following the celebration at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Christus Garden.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
