Born February 22, 1950 in Red Bud, IL and grew up in Benton, IL. He played basketball at and graduated from Benton High School. Patrick attended Hiawassee, where he met Cathy. They were married in August 1970. He graduated from ETSU School of Nursing.
Patrick joined the 912th MASH and served in Desert Storm. He retired as a Lt. Colonel. Patrick loved his military family.
After serving on active duty, he worked for Mt. Home VA Medical Center in Johnson City where he had many great friends there.
He was an active member of Celebration Church.
Patrick was preceded in death by his father, John Allen Tindall and brother, Jeff Tindall.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cathy; son Ben and wife Beth; daughters, Valerie and husband Cliff and Lora; grandchildren, Adam, Cory, Brent, Patrick, Dhalon, and Kiyana; his mother, Shirley; sisters, Cheri Elkins and husband Larry, and Jill Zinzilieta and husband Mike; brother Greg Tindall and wife Viva; father-in-law, James Cowden; and several much loved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 10:00 to 12:00pm. Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm with Robert Russell officiating.
Patrick will be laid to rest following the funeral at East Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum II with military honors provided by the Tennessee Army National Guard Honor Team.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to Rainbow Bridge No-Kill Animal Shelter, 2061 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617 and random acts of kindness.
