

Lula Helen Bowser, 83, of Kingsport passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2011. She was born October 27, 1927 to Bert and Grace Houchins in Coburn, Virginia. Her parents, her husband, Cecil Bowser, sisters Fay Vicars, Marie Kirkpatrick and Brother Ira Bill Houchins preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters Barbara Bales, Kathy Cox and husband Johnny, and son Walter Dean Bowser and wife Margaret, grandchildren Krystal McReynolds and husband Chris, John William Bales and wife Melinda, Cecil Bales and special friend Christine Arce, Tina Cline and husband Aaron, Brandy Creech and husband Jason, great grandchildren Zeb, Cam and Jett McReynolds, Joshua, Jonathan, Gage, Kayla, Abigail, and C.J. Bales, Mason and Broderik Cline, Ann Marie and Abagayle Creech, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends today, March 11th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home, with the service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Strong officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March12th, at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
