Mary Lewis Franklin, age 85, entered into rest, May 15, 2012at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Greeneville, TN and was a longtime resident of Mt. Carmel. Mary was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Myrtle Lewis; husband, Henry Franklin; brothers, Noel Jr., Tommy, Joe, and Robert Lewis; sisters, Annie Phillips, Rebecca Olinger, Phoebe Gregg, and Kate Malone. Mary is survived by her son, Jeffrey C. Franklin and wife, Roberta of Mt. Carmel; two grandchildren, Henry Franklin and Ashley Franklin; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Lewis and Frances Lewis; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends today, Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home, with a celebration of life service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, at East Lawn Memorial Park.
