Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Hood, her brothers Herman Dockery and Orbin Dockery Jr., her sisters Bridgell Kenny, Anna Lee Crissman, Izona Carter, Sally Babb, and Kate Bostic.
She is survived by her daughters Charlene Coomer and Debra (Scott) Bishop, as well as her sons Scotty (Karen) Hood and Tony Hood, and many grandchildren.
A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at 12:00 PM at East Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, Tennessee 37664. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 31, 2025 at 1:00 PM. A burial will occur Friday, January 31, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
