

She was an avid bowler for over 30+ years, and had bowled in numerous USBC National Tournaments. Missy was a member of the women’s local and state 600 club; served on the Tennessee Women’s State Board and was the secretary/manager of the Kingsport Bowling Association; along with being the Director of the Warpath Youth League. She was also a member of Clintwood United Methodist Church.
Survivors, other than her mother, include her husband David Lambert; daughter Erin Vance; step-daughters: Savannah Lambert, Tatum Lambert and Brianna Lambert; step-son Tanner Lambert; sisters: Deborah Mullins and husband Donald and Jeannie McFaddin and husband Buddy; brother Richie Patton; nieces: Tamara Lasley and husband B.J., Nicolette Meade and husband Aaron, Brooke Patton and Miranda Lambert; nephew Brandon Mullins and wife Brittany; great nieces and nephews: Natalie and Allie Lasley, Jaspar and Ione Meade and Addison Mullins; mother and father-in-law Frank and Joy Lambert and sister-in-law, Denise Freeman and husband Kevin.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dan Birchfield, officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol, Virginia. Active pallbearers will be Brandon Mullins, Tanner Lambert, Jaret Henry, Steve Martin, Robbie McClellen and Mark Wilkins. Honorary pallbearers are Ray McDonald, Jeff Harrison, Josh Page, Jim Moffit and Dennis Lane.
