

Susan Michelle Wright Jenkins, 49, Kingsport, passed away November 20, 2012 in the Holston Valley Hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Sullivan County. Michelle graduated from Science Hill High school and attended ETSU. She was employed by the Kingsport City School Systems. She was a member of Liberty Hill Methodist Church in Mount Carmel, TN. Michelle was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Guy and Lucile Wright, Maternal grandparents Clyde and Oralee Tipton. Survivors include: her husband, Jeff Jenkins, two daughters Olivia Jenkins and Alex Jenkins Brown, and husband Jeff and their son Kaidyn; her parents Jack and Wanda Wright of Johnson City; Brothers, Desi Wright, Jeff Wright and his wife Kim, Allen Davidson and his wife Heather. Father and Mother-in-laws include: Reece and Brenda Jenkins, Gorman and Alexis Jenkins Waddell; Sister-in-law, Kelli Dawson and her husband Robert, Brother-in-law Chris Jenkins and his wife Jeanna. Other survivors include: Rick and Sandy Crawford (Uncle and Aunt), David Tipton (Uncle), Curtis and Rosa Tipton (Uncle and Aunt); Grandmother-in-law, Marie Merrill, Great Aunt Nell Winsey and husband Joel. The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to the entire staff of the CCU department at Holston Valley Hospital for their great compassion and care.
The funeral service for Susan Michelle Wright Jenkins will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 in the East Lawn Funeral Home, with visitation from 12 noon to 2 p.m., interment will follow the service. East Lawn Funeral Home, Kingsport and Memorial Funeral Chapel, Elizabethton are in charge of these arrangements.
