Mildred Shaffer

Mildred Aileen Ketron Shaffer age 84 of Kingsport passed away Sunday November 13, 2011 in The Wexford House. She was born in Bristol, VA. And a resident of Kingsport most of her life. Mrs. Shaffer was of the Baptist Faith and a retired employee of The Kingsport Press.

Family members that preceded her in death are her parents Everett William Ketron and wife Lola Mae; husband Jessee Willard Shaffer; infant son; sisters Mary Rose, Mabel Sproles, Maxie Wright , Lucille Shankle and Margaret Ketron,; brothers Maynard Ketron and Junior Ketron.

Survivors include her son Larry Shaffer and wife Carol Kingsport, TN. ; sisters Bernice Millard and husband Bill Bristol, VA. ; Judy Smith and husband Salem Bristol, TN. ; brothers Harvey Ketron and wife Audrey Bristol, VA.; Dewey Ketron and wife Mildred Bristol, VA. ; Clif Ketron and wife Kathy Abingdon, VA. ; Bill Ketron and wife Shirley Bristol, VA. ;Tom Ketron and wife Shelby Bristol VA. and Freddy Ketron and wife Vera Bristol, VA. ; Several Nieces and Nephews

The family of Mrs. Shaffer will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Wednesday November 16, 2011 at East Lawn Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at .2:00 PM. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Al South officiating Interment will be in East Lawn Memorial Park Pallbearers will be Salem Smith, Bill Millard and Mark Lucas A special thanks to The Wexford House four their wonderful care.
