Mildred Justice Stapleton

Mildred Justice Stapleton, 82, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Greystone HealthCare in Blountville, Tennessee. Born on August 19, 1933 in Rogersville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Hattie Wallace.

Ms. Stapleton was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved music, especially Waylon Jennings. She had a passion for flowers and loved her garden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Stapleton; children, Patricia Stapleton and Steve Stapleton; sister, Genova Wallace; and brothers, Andrew Wallace and James Wallace.

She is survived by her children, Randall Stapleton, Diane Page and her husband, Richard, Gary Stapleton and his wife, Tammy, Donna Wolfe and her husband, Randall, Sammy Stapleton, Tina Martin and her husband, Ronnie, and Angie Stapleton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Tillie Kerney and Ivadale Poe; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2015 at East Lawn Funeral Home, Kingsport, Tennessee. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Garden of Everlasting Life I of East Lawn Memorial Park.

Honoring Ms. Stapleton as pallbearers are Rusty Wolfe, Dusty Wolfe, Jeff Marshall, Hunter Stapleton and Randy Wolfe.
