Obituary of Ollin Starnes

East Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park

Ollin Starnes, age 86, of Fall Branch, Tennessee went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Ollin was welcomed into heaven a healed man after fighting illness for the past few months.

Virginian native, Ollin moved to Michigan to work for General Motors in the Cadillac Division. Ollin spent a great deal of his time working for GM for over 30 years. Ollin would spend time farming, woodworking, and tinkering with cars. He loved his family and his wife, who precedes him in death, Katherine Bryant Starnes.

Ollin was a beloved husband, brother, father, step-father, and grandfather. Ollin loved his family and spent his life working to care and provide for them. Ollin will be greatly missed.

A receiving of friends for Ollin will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at East Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM. An entombment will occur Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 3:00 PM at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers are Michael Starnes, Brent Starnes, William "Dude" Honeycutt, Tyler Galyon, Averil Chaney and David Bryant.
