Otelia Still

Otelia Still age 90, of Kingsport, TN. passed away Monday October3, 2011 in Holston Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Still was born in Jasper VA. and she was a resident of Kingsport most of her life. She was a retired employee of Indian Path Medical Center and a member of Oak Drive Baptist Church.

Mrs. Still was preceded in death by her parents James and Elva Bishop; her husband Joe Still; her son Wayne Still ; three sisters Janette Kappelman ,Lela Fritz and Loretta Galotta; her grandson Joshua Still.

Survivors include one son Charles Still and wife Anita of Kingsport, TN.; one daughter Shirley Pearcy and husband Mike of Kingsport, TN.; daughter in-law Barbara Still; two brothers James Bishop Kansas and Dane Bishop of Florida; two sisters Edith Vaughn of Duffield VA. and Lillian Legg of Big Stone Gap VA. ; grandchildren Sammy Still, Tammy Baker, April Cordle, Mechell Tignor, Amanda Still, Brooke Foster and Ashley Sluss and twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren .

The Still family will receive friends from 12:30- 2:30 PM. Friday October 7, 2011 at East Lawn Funeral Home with funeral service to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Whitley officiating Internment will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park pallbearers will be the Deacons of Oak Drive Baptist Church
