When I think about Victory Baptist Church, I think about Ira and Pat Hay. They were examples of what a Christian should be. Pat was always smiling and friendly to everyone. It was a privilege to have known her. Praise the Lord that we know where she is and we will see her again someday. Praying for the Lord to wrap His arms around you and comfort you each day.

To a very special family. We were so sadden by the loss of Mrs Hay. We loved you all so much and I know we will get to see her again. I remember spending time with you all in the summer and the memories we made. She taught my Sunday School class a Victory Baptist Church and was our youth leader along with he dear husband. Bro. Ira. Margie and I regret so much that we are so far from Kingsport right now that we cannot be there to pay our last respects to your dear wife, Pat. For over a month now we have been on a mission's trip up here in Canada, about 1300 miles from Kingsport. We won't be home until later this month, and cannot be there when you are going through this terribly difficult time in your life. How I wish we could! But we can pray, and we have been, and we shall continue. Our prayers are with you, from the bottom of our hearts, as we ask God to be near to you, to talk with you and to walk through this ordeal with you. I know of your faith and trust in God, and just as I know He will not fail you, I know you will not disappoint Him. May God give you the strength and help you need at this time!
Much Love, Butch & Margie Abbett
