Paul L. "Lynn" Davis

Paul L. “Lynn” Davis, age 75 of Blountville, entered into the glory of Heaven during the late morning hours of Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Lynn was born on April 17, 1941 in Hawkins County, TN to the late George E. Davis and the late Jessie Ruth Helton Davis. On March 10, 1962, Lynn married his most cherished friend and love of his life, Kay Snapp, and after 54 years of a beautiful life together, she survives.

Lynn loved every moment of his life. Lynn and his family have been members of Sunnyside Baptist Church since 1973, and he was always active with church activities. Lynn was a huge UT football and basketball fan and he enjoyed the outdoors. But most of all he cherished his time with his family and grandchildren.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Ralph Snapp. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kay Davis; son, Scott Davis and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Jared and Zane Davis; brothers, J.D. Davis and wife Leta, Donnie Davis and wife Katie, and Gary Davis and wife Dee; sisters, Evelyn Dean and husband Jimmy, and Cathy Crawley and husband Jim; mother-in-law, Edna Snapp; brother-in-law, Stanley Snapp and wife Delta; sister-in-law, Brenda Wallen and husband Bob; and several loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Sunnyside Baptist Church, located at 406 Cooks Valley Rd, Kingsport, TN 37664. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm immediately following the visitation with Dr. Roy Graves officiating. Interment services will be held on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 11:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of David.
