I often referred to Peggy as my 2nd mother. There were so many times that I would be going through a battle and Peggy would always lift me up, she had a way of looking at the Good even in difficult times. I always admired her work ethic and the Passion that she put into her work. Everyone once in a while we come across an individual that just makes you a better person by being around them. Peggy was that person to me and so many others. I could make a sandwich alongside Peggy but mine just didn't taste quite as good as hers..even though I put the same stuff on it..She cooked and made food with that same ingredient that she lived her life with --LOVE. I will miss her so but I know that she is celebrating with our Savior and that gives me Peace knowing that I will see her again.

I have known Peggy since 1995,when she worked for Irene Allen at the Johnson City flea market. I instantly saw great integrity and truth in Peggy. She beamed with this aurora of great character. I was not surprised to learn that this character came from her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She made me better as she did all those who knew her and worked with her. We worked together at Clayton Homes for a number of years. Her integrity was a major influence in an environment that was sometimes lacking in truthfulness, as most sales positions sometimes exaggerate features. I shared her belief and we took great pride in delivering a product that was fair and truthful. I believe to this day, that character of hers led to a very successful image of our workplace during a time of poor sales (the Great Recession). SHE MADE US ALL BETTER.
