Phyllis Ann Clayman, 82, a native of Kingsport, TN, died January 2, 2023, during a fire in her Atlanta home. She was retired from Eastman Chemical Company where she worked in sales. She was preceded in death by her parents William Edgar Clayman and Susan Barr Clayman. She was also preceded in death by her two siblings, brother William Herman Clayman (Dorothy Cox Clayman, also deceased) and sister Emma Jean Clayman Thomas (Dale Thomas, also deceased). She is survived by nephew Steven William Clayman (Becky) of Kingsport, by niece Alethea Clayman Hamly (Mike) of Kingsport, by nephew Gregory Alan Thomas (Nancy) of Cleveland, TN, and by several great nieces, great nephews, and special friends. A brief memorial service will be held at the East Lawn's Chapel Of Memories in Kingsport, TN on March 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Phyllis’s wishes donations to animal shelters are encouraged.
