He was the son of the late Thomas and Joann Fugate. Randy was an avid NASCAR fan, loved to watch the Andy Griffith show and play with his best companion, his dog Spike. Randy loved motorcycles and owned several over the years. He enjoyed riding with the PeaceMakers at one time.
Randy is survived by his brother, John Fugate and wife Kristy of Kingsport, Nephews, Grayson and Evan Fugate and niece, Brittany Hawkins of Jonesborough along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Randy also had many close friends and neighbors left to cherish his memory.
Fugate family will receive friends Tuesday June 6, 2023 from 12 - 2 PM at East Lawn Funeral Home, Graveside service will follow in the Garden of Prayer in East Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any diabetes research foundation or to the charity of one's choice.
