Reba was born in Church Hill, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late Ben and Odell Ladd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack L Mottern and infant son, Jefferey Scott Mottern; her sister, Mogaline Hannah Frazier; and her brother, Charles B. Ladd.
She attended Boone Creek Christian Church. Reba retired from Eastman Kodak after 21 years of service.
Survivors include her son Tom Mottern and wife Leslie of Gray TN.; grandchildren, Scott Mottern and wife Erin Gowen of Atlanta GA., Rachel Mottern and husband Brennan Coheleach of Atlanta GA.; sister Linda L Bowling; three nephews and two nieces
