Ms. Reba Eileen Stata

Reba Eileen Stata, age 87, of Kingsport, departed this life on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Eileen was born on January 1, 1930, in Scott County, Virginia to the late Roy Kindle and the late Annie Bostic Kindle. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband C.B. Stata, Jr. and son Mark Anthony Stata. She was a member of First Christian Church of Kingsport and the Crewettes.

Eileen leaves behind to mourn her passing her three grandchildren: Mark Anthony Stata, Jr., Scott Andrew Stata, and Joseph Mark Blair; two brothers: Frank Kindle and wife Marlene and Ellra T. Kindle and wife Faye; three sisters: Wilma Jean Tomlinson, Mildred Sturgill and Patsy Bledsoe and husband Wade; daughter-in-law: Kimberly Stata and several nieces and nephews also survive.

You are cordially invited to a time of visitation on Monday, January 1, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour at 3:00 P.M. at First Christian Church of Kingsport 106 E. Charlemont Avenue, Kingsport, TN 37660. A funeral service to commemorate the life of Reba Eileen Stata will be conducted on Monday, January 1, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. in the sanctuary of First Christian Church of Kingsport with Pastor Phip Sams and Rev. Randy Perciful officiating. She will be laid to rest on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Friends and Family serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of your choice in Eileen’s memory.
