Mr. Richard Lawrence Turner, age 67, of Kingsport, TN, died on Sunday April 6, 2014 at a local hospital. A native of Paden City, West VA, Mr. Turner was born on September 25, 1946 the son of the late Amy Turner Eddy. Mr. Turner was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Lear Seating Corporation of Morristown, TN and was an avid sports fan and loved fishing. He was married to the former Patricia Ann Curry who survives. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Patricia C. Turner. One daughter, Mrs. Judy Zimmer. Two brothers; Harry Turner and Earl Turner. One sister, Corina Sue Sheves. Funeral services for Mr. Turner will be conducted on Thursday April 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Dr. Tim Owen officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the East Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
