Ricky "Rick" Lynn Kilgore

Ricky “Rick” Lynn Kilgore, 49, of Mt. Carmel, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Born on August 21, 1965 in Kingsport, he was the son of Ronald Kilgore and Brenda Thomas Kilgore. Rick was Saved and Baptized and attended Ridgeview Baptist Church. He loved and collected his antiques. Rick was a loving and dedicated son, father and “Pappy” who cherished his family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Thomas; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter D. Kilgore. He is survived by his father and mother, Ronald and Brenda Thomas Kilgore; his children, Brittany Kilgore and Tyler Kilgore; grandchildren, Riley Kilgore and Skye Kilgore; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, September 7, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Rogers officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 8, 2014 at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers honoring Rick will be his family and friends.
