Robert L. Blevins Jr. 'RL' passed away in Kingsport at the age of 80 on October 16 , 2024. He is survived by wife Judy Blevins of 45 years, son Rick Hurd, daughter-in-law Joyce Smith, brother Tommy, sister Patsy Jones and several grand and great-grandchildren. 'RL' was a Vietnam veteran and retired from the local paper mill.
A visitation will be hosted at East Lawn Funeral Home on October 22nd at 12:00 PM with a service provided by Pastor Will Hutchinson following at 1:00 PM and burial following immediately after in the East Lawn Cemetery.
