Ronald Eugene Manis

Ronald Eugene Manis, age 59, of Kingsport, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2025, at Durham Hensley Health & Rehab in Chuckey, TN. He was born on September 17, 1966, the son of the late James Edward Manis, Sr. and Nancy Jane Bragg Manis. Ronald radiated an infectious spirit, and his warm, open personality cast a bright light wherever he went. Meeting new people was his delight, and he approached every encounter with genuine warmth and a readiness to lend a hand. With a vibrant smile that could brighten the dullest of days and a playful flirtation that charmed those around him, Ronald had a way of making connections that felt special. Not only was he sociable, but he was also incredibly handy, possessing skills that made him a valuable asset in any task he undertook.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Mae Manis and brothers James E. Manis, Jr. and Jerry Lee Manis and sister Madeline Sue Goodwin.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters Leta Vargeson and husband Jeff and Linda Sue Kern; along with five uncles, two aunts, and a number of nephews, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly

There are no formal funeral arrangements at this time. Inurnment will be held at a later time.
