Ruth Richey, 88, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Brookhaven Manor. Mrs. Richey was born on August 20, 1926 in West Dante, Virginia, the daughter of the late John Ramey and Emma Marshall Ramey. She worked as a Machine Worker at Eastman and was of the Pentecostal Faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Richey was preceded in death by nephew, Billy Ramey; two sisters, Viola Ramey and Beuretta Ramey; and two brothers, John Ramey and Paul Ramey.
Survivors include two sisters, Mae Rosenbalm and Lois Burgess; three nieces, Brenda Bowery, Teresa Rosenbalm, and Debbie Winstead and husband Eddie; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
All services will be private. Burial will be held in the Garden of Apostles at East Lawn Memorial Park.
